Today's Daily thoughts

Today was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and it warmed up a little bit unlike these last few days here in Ohio. I was really hoping for snow though. They were calling for 5 to 10 inches the other night, I was up all night I was so excited, felt like a kid again. And of course as usual, we didn't get much. My children still didn't have school the next morning and I was dog tired too.
I wanted to apologize to anyone that reads my blog,I have been busy these last few weeks, maybe starting a new career. This would help my family tremendously. Living pay check to pay check each week is very hard, struggling to pay the bills. I know we aren't the only ones of course. It's not the bills that bother me so much as the sad look on my children's faces when i tell them maybe next week we could do this or that week. You just know that your children don't understand and you obviously can't burden them with all your worries.
My advice for that would be to find something crafty to do at home with your child. find some scrap paper to make cut outs or make a puppet show out of old socks. These ideas are inexpensive and give your child's imagination room to grow. make a book or read a book. Let your child point out words they know. It's not the money that you spend on your children, but the time that you spend with them. They love you for dancing around the house and being silly. Picking a kids movie to watch for the night. building a clubhouse out of the dining room chairs and sitting under there with them and pretending that there are bears rooting for food. (That is very exciting)!
My children have taught me the true meaning of patience and understanding. Yes, sometimes we all still have our off days and if you find yourself in a moment that you just want to scream, then please look at your child and just smile! The return face that you will receive should be enough to wash those stress and worries away.
Kids are very intelligent when you stop and listen. The things they say and do are memories forever.
These are just my thoughts. Now please go make memories with your children and show them just how much you love them and how deep down your just a big kid yourself!!
have a blessed day:)
